Welcome to 6th Grade at Stuart!

Starting middle school is a big milestone, and we are excited to welcome our newest Raptors! Our 6th Grade Orientation is designed to help students feel confident, connected, and ready for a great first year before the rest of the school returns.

📅 Orientation Details

Date: Wednesday, August 19
Time: 8:25 AM to 4:35 PM

Transportation: Bus transportation will be available for students who qualify for district bus service.

What Students Will Do

Throughout the day, students will:

• Tour the school
• Learn their daily schedule and routines
• Meet teachers and staff
• Connect with classmates
• Practice navigating the building
• Build confidence before the first day of school

What to Bring

• Water bottle
• Sack lunch (optional). A free school lunch will also be available in the cafeteria.

Please do not bring school supplies to orientation. Save those for the first day of school!

Arrival Information

When students arrive, they will line up outside with their advisory teacher. Advisory teachers will welcome students and walk them into the building through the main entrance. Staff members will be available to help students find their groups and answer any questions.

Families Welcome!

We invite parents and family members to line the sidewalks as students enter the building. Help us give our newest Raptors a warm, encouraging sendoff as they begin this exciting new chapter. Your cheers and support will make the morning even more memorable!
